A Servant of God is one who is devoted to and is following Jesus. It is a person who disregards his own interests, picks up his cross and follows Jesus.

Matthew 13:27-28 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

Luke 12:38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

 Luke 12:43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Luke 14:22-23 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
