Proverbs 4:26 “Mark out a straight path for your feet, stay on the safe path.”
What path has your feet been walking in? We often don’t take time to think and “ponder” where our feet are going, or what direction we are walking in. We oftentimes just breeze through life without ever really stopping to think, whats my aim in all this toil that I’m involved in? What’s my end in these choices I am making. We are told in God’s word not to conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of our mind, then we will be able to test and approve what God’s will is for our life (Rom 12:2).
We can all agree that God created us with a purpose, but he also gave us a free will to “choose” whether we want to walk in it or not. He doesn’t force us.
Family, there is a daily choice we must make, and that’s to follow Jesus. We were created to glorify God and be conformed to the image of His Son. We must judge then whether the road we are walking on today is leading us closer or farther from Him.
